“We are a family-owned-and-operated outfitter located in the heart of Summit County, Colorado. Formed in 2011, Paddle Colorado has quickly garnered the reputation of being a truly “customer-oriented tour operator.”

Excellent, relaxing. Professional guides.

We did a half-day rafting trip in the morning, which was just the right amount. The river is/was tame…..a bit of whitewater, but truly nothing that wild at all. We ended up being two small groups in two rafts, and both guides were terrific. Micah was ours, and he was very adept at making everyone comfortable and making the experience great. It’s about a one-hour drive to the spot where the rafts are put into the river, and about an hour back to the Frisco meeting place. We had a beautiful day, and there was ample time to enjoy the scenery. And a stop-off to jump from a ~30-foot cliff into the river was a nice touch! The company seemed very much organized, and the prices seemed on-par with other such rafting companies offering pretty much the same experience. Highly recommend!

Great day on a very scenic river!

We had a wonderful time. Our guide Scott was very knowable about the river and points of interest along the way. We were picked up in Frisco and driven to the river which is very convenient and the driver Bill also kept us interested in points along the way.

They provided lunch of a selection of sandwich meats, cheese and toppings, potato salad, chips, cookie and water. Scotts sidekick Eddie the dog came along too and a fun companion. ( He does ask you first if it’s ok for Eddie to come along)

One of the most interesting sights was the dinosaur footprints.

I think this would be suitable for younger children as well.

Excellent for families.

We took our 4, 7, and 9 year old boys on their first rafting trip. Ours was a half-day in the morning, and it was perfect. The rapids were just the right size for our family and our kids loved it! Scott was a fantastic guide and really made it a fun trip. Also, being picked up in Frisco sure beat having to drive all the way down to the river myself like the other rafting companies require. I highly recommend the half-day experience for anybody looking to get their first experience with whitewater.
